Investment Committee
Mr. Croul, a real estate capital markets expert with 35 years of commercial real estate experience, has spent the last 12 years specializing in multifamily properties, including 7 years leading the western region at Freddie Mac where he was responsible for over $65 Billion in multifamily capitalizations. Most recently, he was Fund Manager at Partners Capital Solutions, a private debt fund with $250MM AUM where he served on the Board of Directors, led Investment Committee and was responsible for all lending operations and investor relationships. Further relevant past positions include leadership roles with Orix Real Estate Capital and Manulife Financial Real Estate. Mr. Croul graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics.
Founder and President
Mr. Friedman is the Founder and President of Investwest Real Estate, where he also serves on the firm’s Investment Committee. Since its inception in 2019, Investwest has acquired and currently manages a portfolio of more than 1,400 multifamily units in the Sunbelt market. He is also a principal of Bow West Capital LLC, a full-service real estate investment, development and asset management company based in Los Angeles, CA. Previously, Mr. Friedman served as Chief Operating Officer of Spartan Truck Hire and Logistics (2009 to 2016), one of Southern Africa’s largest privately held transportation and logistics companies. He is also a Director of Sythel Investments, a South Africa-based private real estate and investment firm with a focus on industrial assets across the region. Gregory holds a Bachelor of Communications degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
